Mayorga Coffee {A Wall of Opportunity}

Posted on | February 16, 2010 | 1 Comment

This is a first for me as a photographer, I have nailed four photographs on the wall of a local coffee shop. My friend Rylee is the manager of the Mayorga in Rockville, giving me an amazing opportunity that I might not have gotten. I am so excited for this door that has flown open for me.

All the prints are for sale, $160 each, and soon I’ll be dropping off my business cards for distribution. So go check it out, get a cup of coffee, and hopefully I’ll be adding more to that wall soon. Click to get there.

These photographs are by Becca Coe, a local photographer, located in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. region.

In truth, she picked up a real camera for the first time when she was twelve and since then there has been no stopping the love and passion that she has for this medium of art. Becca has studied photography both locally and abroad, traveling hours either by car or plane with my camera in hand. This is my dedication and ambition in life, to live by my camera.

Two of these photographs were taken in Ethiopia, in 2009 she had the privilege to study photography under professional photographer Jan Schlegel, and went with him and others to Ethiopia to the Omo Valley and photographed the Karo tribe.

The other two photographs are both from around Maryland, providing an interesting view on life.

Please email for further information about purchasing these prints or others.
